About The Position

Wheelhouse Community School serves children ages 2-5. We are currently seeking substitute teachers to join us on an as-needed basis at in Acra.  The hours are flexible, you are never obligated to be available when we call, however if you are available, you may get multiple shifts a week.

Requirements

• 1 year childcare preferred but not required, we are happy to train folks entering the field.
• Highschool Graduate or GED

• Bachelor's Degree

Responsibilities

• Fostering a safe, respectful, and caring classroom environment
• Assisting the primary classroom teacher in assessing children's learning, addressing individual learning needs
• Helping to maintain a safe and organized classroom space
