About The Position

The SUBSTITUTE Security Guard is responsible for providing a security presence during activities or events occurring in the school building or grounds after school hours, evenings, and/or weekends. This role includes overseeing the signing in and out of all persons attending events and activities.

Requirements

• Required criminal history background check
• Proof of U.S. Citizenship
• Retired Law Enforcement required
• Experience with technology including computer, two-way radio, video monitors, and buzz-in systems
• Ability to maintain order and work with groups and individuals on security and crisis management

Responsibilities

• Provide security presence during school activities or events after hours
• Oversee the signing in and out of attendees at events
• Maintain order and manage security-related matters during events
