About The Position

The Secretary position involves providing administrative support within an educational environment. The role requires a candidate who is organized, communicative, and capable of handling various tasks related to student information systems and data entry. The Secretary will work closely with students, staff, and parents, ensuring a positive and respectful atmosphere while maintaining confidentiality in all matters.

Requirements

  • Secretarial office experience preferred; including but not limited to ProgressBook Suite Student Information System, Google docs, Excel
  • Some experience with EMIS related data entry
  • High school diploma or GED equivalency; post-secondary degree preferred
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills both orally & written
  • Ability to follow directions and a strong desire to succeed
  • Must be friendly, dependable and exhibit a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work well with students, staff and parents of diverse populations
  • Ability to maintain and respect confidential information and situation
  • Ability to assist supervisor in creating a safe, positive, respectful climate
