See attachment on original job posting EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Graduation from high school or equivalent. Two years of experience working in school security is preferred. LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Valid California driver's license (DO NOT ATTACH to the application; It will be requested at the time of hire.) The following training will be provided by the District upon hire: - Completion of a 24-hour School Security Guard Training in accordance with Education Code 38001.5 (SB 1626) - School Emergency Trauma Intervention course - Traffic Management and Control course EXAMINATION INFORMATION: All applicants must pass a multiple-choice School Safety Officer skills test and a District Agility test. Applicants must notify the Office of Human Resources in writing of the type of accommodations being requested at the time of filing the application. CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT: Must be insurable by the District liability insurance carrier. All employment offers are conditional, based upon the successful completion of the following: Fingerprint/background clearance, and a tuberculosis clearance. A physical examination clearance is required for certain positions for the district. All candidates with a record of convictions must indicate such on the confidential data form, which is attached to the job application. A record of conviction will not automatically disqualify an applicant from employment, but a failure to list all convictions may result in disqualification or dismissal.
