Requirements

• Current Texas LVN license in good standing
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and adapt to different school environments
• Reliable transportation and punctuality are essential

Nice To Haves

• Experience in pediatrics, school nursing, home health, or clinic settings preferred (not required)

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to students during the school day in accordance with district policies and physician orders
• Assess and manage acute illnesses, injuries, and chronic health conditions
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Communicate effectively with school staff, parents, and administrators as appropriate
• Promote a safe, healthy learning environment for students
