About The Position
The Substitute School Nurse at Texas Leadership Public Schools (TLPS) is responsible for ensuring a complete health services program for the assigned campus. This role involves providing health services to students and staff, teaching preventive health practices, and overseeing licensed vocational school nurses. The nurse will act as a health mentor, contact parents in cases of emergencies, and implement plans for medication administration. Additionally, the nurse will draft health education curriculum, assess student health issues, and maintain communication with school administration and health professionals.
