About The Position

The position is for a Special Education Teacher with a focus on Mild/Moderate disabilities. The teacher will be responsible for providing instruction and support to students with special needs, ensuring they receive a quality education tailored to their individual requirements. The role requires collaboration with other educators, parents, and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment. The teacher will also be responsible for developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students, monitoring their progress, and adjusting instructional strategies as needed.

Requirements

• Valid California SPED teaching credential authorizing instruction at the appropriate level
• Fingerprint Clearance (If chosen for position)
• TB Test Clearance (If chosen for position)
• CPR Certificate (If chosen for position)
• Unofficial Transcripts (Originals will be required if chosen for position)
• Teaching credential-Special Education Mild/Moderate
• Education Specialist Instruction Credential - Mild/Moderate
