About The Position

The Neptune Township School District is seeking Substitute Paraprofessionals for the 2025-2026 school year. These positions are available to support the educational environment under the supervision of the Building Principal or other administrators as needed. The effective date for these positions is September 2, 2025, with a per diem salary of $110.00. Health benefits and other coverage are not provided for this role.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED or completion of the ParaPro Assessment.
• Fingerprinting required for criminal history background clearance.
• Ability to pass a required physical and drug test offered free of charge.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with children in an educational setting.
• Familiarity with special education practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in the classroom with instructional activities.
• Support students with special needs as required.
• Maintain a safe and productive learning environment.
• Follow lesson plans and adapt as necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervising teacher or administrator.
