Substitute School Nurses - 2025/2026 School Year Griswold Public Schools is seeking qualified and compassionate Substitute School Nurses to support the health and well-being of our students for the 2025/2026 school year. Requirements
- Current RN or LPN license (State of Connecticut)
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Experience in pediatric, school, or community health preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- A calm, caring, and professional approach to student care
Nice To Haves
- Experience in pediatric, school, or community health preferred
Responsibilities
- Providing direct care for students who become ill or injured during the school day
- Administering medications and managing student health plans as needed
- Monitoring student health concerns and communicating with parents/guardians
- Maintaining health records and documenting visits to the health office
- Supporting public health initiatives and promoting wellness throughout the school community
