About The Position

The above substitute Nurses positions are available for the 2025-2026 school year. The position is per diem, with a salary of $200.00 per day. Substitute Nurses will report to the Building Principal/Supervisor or other administrator as needed. The effective date for this position is September 2, 2025.

Requirements

• Current license as a registered professional nurse in New Jersey.
• BLS/CPR Certification.
• Knowledge, background/experience in nursing duties/responsibilities.
• Must meet highly qualified standards.
• Pediatrics/Emergency Dept/ICU experience preferred.
• Recent hospital clinical experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and flexibility skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant computer applications.
• Fingerprinting required for criminal history background clearance.
• Required physical and drug test offered free of charge.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in pediatrics, emergency department, or ICU.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing duties and responsibilities as required.
• Mandatory electronic tracking and reporting of program-related data.
