About The Position

The Substitute School Nurse will provide nursing services to students in the school setting. This role requires a valid North Carolina Driver's License and certification from either the American Nurses' Association (ANA) or the National Association of School Nurses (NASN) within three years of the hire date. The nurse will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of students, managing health records, and providing emergency care as needed.

Requirements

• Valid North Carolina Driver's License
• Must be certified by the American Nurses' Association (ANA) or the National Association of School Nurses (NASN) within three (3) years of hire date
• Completion of training necessary for licensing as a registered nurse
• High School Diploma
• Associate's Degree in Nursing required
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required within three (3) years of hire date in order to be eligible for NASN certification
