About the position
The Substitute Multi-Classified Aide II/Supervisory Aide/Bus (Specialized Health Care Procedures) position is designed to support the educational environment by facilitating instruction and supervising students under the direction of a principal, teacher, or designated professional educator. This role includes responsibilities for supervising students on school buses and ensuring a safe and effective learning atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate instruction and provide direct or indirect supervision of pupils.
- Supervise students on school buses.
- Observe work hours and maintain attendance.
- Comply with safety practices and meet schedules.
- Accept changes and maintain a positive attitude.
- Ensure the appearance of the work area is tidy.
- Demonstrate initiative and efficiency under stress.
- Operate and care for equipment as required.
- Plan and organize work effectively.
Requirements
- Passed State Aide Exam.
- Completed a training program approved by the state board.
- High school diploma or general educational development certificate.
- Classified in an Aide II class title for special education programs.
