Substitute Montessori Preschool Teacher, 12 weeks - 6 years (25 hours/week guaranteed)
About The Position

We are conducting a search for a part-time substitute teacher/floater to help children fulfill their developmental potential in an authentically prepared, inspiring Montessori environment. Montessori experience is not required, but we welcome educators who have an appreciation for -- and are open to learning more about -- the method. We provide training. About Discovery. Requirements
- Completion of at least 12 college-level early childhood education credits (including at least three credits in infant/toddler care and development)
- Enjoy working with young children
- Are warm, joyful, and professional
- Have valid CPR and first aid certification, or willingness to become CPR and first aid-certified before you begin employment
- Have negative TB test results within the last 12 months or willingness to take a TB test which show negative results before your first day of employment
- Are a US citizen or green card holder.
Nice To Haves
- Have experience working in high-quality preschools, particularly Montessori preschools
- Have interest in creating experiences for young children in the areas of art, music, gardening, or science
- Speak multiple languages
