About The Position

The Substitute - Maintenance position involves performing essential duties necessary for the ongoing care, servicing, repairs, and alteration of the district's facilities, equipment, and grounds. This role is crucial for maintaining the safety and functionality of the district's environment.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License.
• Required criminal history background check and proof of US citizenship or legal resident alien status.

Responsibilities

• Performs the duties necessary to provide for the ongoing care, servicing, repairs, and alteration of the district's facilities, equipment, and grounds.
• Carries out the district's preventative maintenance program, which shall include maintaining inspection reports.
• Maintains the district's grounds, including parking area and walkways.
• Reports to the Maintenance Foreman all deficiencies that require repair or use of an outside contractor.
• Maintains an adequate amount of supplies and equipment used to carry out assigned duties.
• Maintains the heating, ventilation, and related equipment.
• Performs the duties listed in the custodian job description when assigned.
• Accepts the assignment of a reasonable amount of overtime.
• Performs other related duties as may be assigned by the Superintendent/designee or School Business Administrator.
