About The Position

This is an on-call/temporary position with the Santa Cruz County Office of Education. The role involves the care and cleaning of buildings, facilities, and grounds. Applicants will be continuously screened, and qualified candidates will be invited to complete a written examination and interview. If selected, fingerprinting is required, and candidates must provide a negative tuberculosis PPD skin test clearance, which is valid for four years.

Requirements

• Formal or informal education or training ensuring the ability to read and write at a level necessary for successful job performance.
• One year of experience in the care and cleaning of buildings, facilities, and grounds.
• Possession of, or ability to obtain, an appropriate, valid California driver's license and appropriate vehicle operation insurance.

• Ability to travel to various sites.

• On-call/temporary workers do not receive vacation but do receive sick leave as defined under AB 1522/SB 616.
