About The Position

Danvers Public Schools is actively recruiting qualified individuals to join our pool of Substitute Instructional Assistants. This is an on-call position offering flexibility and the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students.

Requirements

• Possess a strong work ethic and a genuine interest in working with children.
• Be patient, understanding, and able to adapt to diverse learning styles.
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.
• All applicants must successfully pass a CORI and fingerprint background check as required by Massachusetts state law.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-class support to students, including individual assistance and working with small groups.
• Assist teachers with classroom management and instructional activities.
• Supervise students during recess, lunch, and other designated periods.
