The employee will move among all schools within the district to cover staff outages. This position involves preparing and serving food according to menus and in correct portion sizes as mandated by yield guides. The employee will also perform various cleaning duties, including sweeping and mopping of floors, cleaning of equipment and work areas, dishwashing, and pot washing. Additional responsibilities include brewing coffee, filling beverage machines, and setting up hot and/or cold food areas. The employee may also be required to deliver food to staff, students, and catering events when necessary.
