About The Position

Provide each student with food of high nutritious quality in an atmosphere of cleanliness, cheerfulness, and personal caring.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Valid Driver’s License
• Food Service experience desirable
• Physically able to lift, reach, bend and stoop
• Valid Food Handler’s card
• Demonstrates aptitude or competence for assigned responsibilities
• Basic cooking and cleaning skills
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Governing Board may find appropriate and acceptable

Nice To Haves

• Food Service experience desirable

Responsibilities

• Understands and complies with all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, directives, assignments and training programs
• Ensures all food are prepared and served according to recipes, production records, cooking and serving standards.
• Maintains a clean and safe work area
• Dates and stores deliveries, rotates stock using First In First Out
• Sweeps and mops floors as needed
• Removes trash
• Follows all local and District health regulations
• Completes production records immediately following food service
• Completes daily Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Points logs according to log instruction
• Completes freezer, walk-in, milk boxes and store room logs; twice daily
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned
