Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in education or related field
Experience working with Pre K through 8th gr
Thorough understanding of pedagogy and best practices in education
Strong supervisory, leadership, and classroom management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to maintain professionalism and tact in stressful situations
Proven ability to take initiative to better support student learning/growth
Ability to use standard office equipment such as a laptop computer and tablet

Responsibilities

Help lead innovative learning activities that promote children’s development and growth
Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times
Monitor children’s progress and development
Create a harmonious environment where children and fellow teachers enjoy coming to each day
