We are seeking Substitute Early Childhood Teachers who are compassionate, flexible, and ready to step in when needed to support our teaching team. In this important role, you’ll help provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment for children ages 6 months to 6 years old. Whether you’re an experienced educator or just beginning your journey in early childhood education, this is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience, make meaningful connections, and contribute to a mission-driven team. The Substitute Teacher position provides flexibility for both the employee and the organization. Substitute Teachers are not scheduled for regular hours but are available to work as needed, often to cover staff absences, vacations, training days, or periods of high demand. When you’re on-call, you may be contacted with little notice to fill in for a shift or assist in a classroom. Hours are not guaranteed and may vary from week to week depending on program needs. This position is ideal for individuals who want a flexible schedule, enjoy variety in their work, are comfortable stepping into different classrooms or roles as needed, and have a passion for supporting children and helping the team succeed. Substitutes are an important part of the Starpoint team, ensuring consistent, high-quality care and education for the children we serve.
