About The Position

Position Criteria: High School Diploma, preferred Custodial Experience: 0-2 years required Performance Criteria: Cleaning to include vacuuming floors, cleaning desk/table tops, emptying trash & recycling, cleaning sinks and windows, sweeping & wet mopping tile floors, lifting & moving lunch tables daily. Clean restrooms Operate a variety of equipment (vacuums, scrubber, etc) Perform regular routine maintenance such as fixing lockers and changing batteries and lightbulbs Perform preventative maintenance on cleaning equipment as scheduled Perform deep cleaning Enter work orders as necessary Other duties as assigned Physical Demands: The custodian physical job demands include: Occasional maximum lift of 50 lbs from waist to above shoulder; Occasional maximum lift of 50 lbs from floor to waist; frequent maximum lift of 30 lbs from floor to shoulder; frequent carry of 50 lbs 10 feet; occasional maximum horizontal push/pull of 20 lbs; occasional maximum vertical pull of 25 lbs; frequent maximum grip of 20 lbs; frequent climb to 8 inches; occasional overhead reach; occasional trunk rotation; frequent reach forward to 24 inches; frequent bending; frequent standing; frequent walking; frequent balance. PDC Level: Heavy based on maximum floor to shoulder lift. Background check completion and pre-employment physical required prior to employment. Uniforms will be porovided and custodian must wear black, non-slip shoes.
