About The Position
Cleans assigned school facilities (e.g. classrooms, offices, restrooms, gym, locker rooms, hallways, cafeteria, lobby, etc.) for the purpose of maintaining a sanitary, safe and attractive environment. Arranges furnishings and equipment for the purpose of providing adequate preparations for meetings, classroom activities and special events. Secures facilities and grounds (e.g. lights out, doors locked, check for cleanliness in/outside your area, remove all trash, etc.) for the purpose of minimizing property damage, equipment loss and potential liability to organization. Generally the job requires 5% sitting, 75% walking, and 20% standing. The job is performed under minimal temperature variations and under conditions with some exposure to risk of injury and/or illness.
Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience: Job related experience is desired.
- Candidates must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
