About The Position

MARSHFIELD R-1 SCHOOL DISTRICT JOB DESCRIPTION SUBSTITUTE CUSTODIAN QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to perform general grounds cleaning. Ability to operate required equipment. Ability to lift objects up to 75 pounds. Ability to work on a schedule independently. Prefer one year minimum work-related experience. High school diploma REPORT TO: Building Head Custodian PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: Essential job skills/knowledge and abilities: Perform minor maintenance needs as assigned by the head custodian. Maintain school grounds in an attractive, clean and safe condition. Cover weekend activities as assigned by building supervisor. Shovel snow as required on school property. Maintain and prepare athletic fields, along with playgrounds, in a clean and attractive manner. Assist the head custodian as requested. Lift trash and other objects up to 75 pounds Perform other tasks as assigned by head custodian.
