About The Position

Brockton Public Schools is seeking Substitute Crossing Guards to ensure the safety of students as they cross streets near schools. This position requires individuals to be present during specific morning and afternoon hours to assist students and maintain order in the vicinity of school crossings.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Resident of the City of Brockton
• Valid Massachusetts Driver's License
• Approved CORI on file

Responsibilities

• Assist students in safely crossing streets near schools
• Maintain order and safety during school arrival and dismissal times
• Report any safety hazards or incidents to school authorities

Benefits

• Compensation of $17.48 per half hour or $34.96 for full hour
• Opportunity to work up to two hours of duty each day for two different schools
