About The Position

Requirements

• High School diploma/GED required
• Twelve units in Child Development for Teacher positions, including the core courses of: Growth & Development (3 units), Child, Family & Community (3 units), Curriculum (3 units), Principles and Practices (3 units)
• Three units in Early Childhood Education
• Infant and Toddler Development (Required for Infant and Toddler Teacher positions)
• Six units for Associate/Assistant positions
• AA/BA in Early Childhood Education preferred
• Transcripts will be required at time of interview

Responsibilities

• Assist with hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children
• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines
