St. Patrick Catholic Summer Care is seeking a dedicated and nurturing individual to join our team as a substitute caregiver for children ages PreK - 5th Grade. Nice To Haves
- Experience/Education: Previous experience in this field would be preferred although is not necessary for the position.
- Safety: Certification in CPR is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Nurturing Care: Engaging and playing with the children, supervising activities and giving instruction when needed, and above all serving them with joy and patience.
- Daily Care: Supervise activities, prepare snacks, and clean whenever needed.
- Educational Planning: Assist the age-appropriate engaging activities and lessons that foster growth.
- Classroom Management: Manage children in a calm, organized manner, thinking ahead to creating smooth transitions. Communication & Partnership: Greet parents and students with a welcoming attitude and communicate regularly to support a strong parent partnership with parents and co-workers.
- Team Support: Demonstrate a willingness to work wherever needed and follow established processes and routines.
- Organization: Maintain a clean and organized classroom space (sweeping, mopping, wiping, etc.), and any daily cleaning necessary.
