About The Position

The Pennsauken Public Schools is seeking a Substitute Bus Driver to join our team. This position is essential for ensuring the safe transportation of students within our urban/suburban school district, which serves approximately 5,000 students from Pre-K to 12th grade in Camden County, New Jersey. The Substitute Bus Driver will be responsible for following established routes and adhering to all relevant regulations set forth by the State Department of Education and the Pennsauken Board of Education.

Requirements

• Current CDL License W/Class B passenger 'P' and skills 'S' endorsements
• High school graduate
• MUST be able to pass the NJ Criminal History Review Unit Criminal Review Fingerprinting requirement
• Willing to train
• New Jersey state residency requirements for public employees in effect

Responsibilities

• Shall follow the established route and make stops thereon as designated by the Board of Education.
• Adhere to rules and regulations as established by the State Department of Education and the Pennsauken Board of Education.

Benefits

• $32.00 hourly, terms and conditions of employment per contract
