About The Position

On-call Substitute Bus driver for regular country, shuttle, noon and out of district school bus routes. Routes include daily morning and evening country runs, between school shuttles, possible noon only runs, and out-of-district runs as needed.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Possess or ability to obtain a State of Illinois CDL type driver's license.
• Complete training to become certified for an Illinois School Bus Driver's permit.
• Pass fingerprint background investigation.
• Pass health physical and drug/alcohol screenings.

Responsibilities

• Drive school buses for regular country routes.
• Conduct shuttle runs between schools.
• Perform noon-only runs as needed.
• Complete out-of-district runs when required.
