About The Position

The South Hunterdon Regional School District is seeking Substitute Bus Drivers for daily school bus routes, as well as for field trips and sports trips. This position offers flexible hours and the opportunity for extra work when available. The district provides training for new drivers, and the substitute rate for the 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 school years is $25/hour, increasing to $30/hour for the 2023-2024 school year.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years old with 3 years of driving experience and a clean driving record.
• Must have a CDL Class B License with a P and S endorsement (training provided).
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical, drug test, and background check.

Nice To Haves

• 3 years of driving experience with a CDL (preferred).
• Class B CDL (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Drive school buses for daily routes, field trips, and sports trips.
• Ensure the safety of students while on the bus.
