Job Summary Substation Project Coordinator II supports and assists utility substation department work. This position is responsible for project administrative documentation and material coordination of substation projects. This role verifies asset management records are accurately updated and submits manual project closing reports. What you will do Prepares, reconciles, and closes project related documentation. Tracks and reports various work-related functions within multiple software systems. Participates on project teams and helps ensure project objectives are achieved and customer needs are met. Helps to resolve project material supply issues and shortages. Coordinates return of unused project material and replacement or repair of defective components. Assists with documentation and processes to comply with regulatory compliance requirements. Coordinates with sub-contractors and vendors. Enters material requisitions, issues purchase orders and pays project related expenses. Tracks and updates financial projections on small capital and retirement projects. Engages in other duties as needed that support Alliant Energy’s Values and helps deliver on our Purpose to serve customers and build stronger communities.
