About The Position

Our client is a leading energy infrastructure company seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee critical substation construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional with 6-10 years of construction management experience to lead complex electrical infrastructure projects in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

  • 6-10 years of construction management experience, preferably in electrical/substation construction
  • Vast knowledge of electrical schematics, mechanical, civil, and steel structural drawings
  • Thorough understanding of safety regulations and hazard identification/mitigation
  • Strong problem-solving abilities to keep projects on track
  • Experience with concrete work and foundation systems
  • Broad understanding of company policies and procedures
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work full-time on-site in McCamey, TX

Responsibilities

  • Prioritize and enforce safety protocols on job sites, ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards
  • Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure effective project completion
  • Perform inspections, maintain QA/QC documents, and audit construction quality for adherence to standards
  • Maintain open communication with team members, clients, and stakeholders throughout projects
  • Keep detailed records of construction activities, progress reports, and safety inspections
  • Lead and manage construction teams, monitor tasks, provide feedback, and resolve conflicts
  • Work with EPC contractors to resolve requests for information (RFI) and change orders
  • Oversee material procurement and management
  • Manage concrete work including flat foundations, drill piers, breaker pads, and GSU containment pits
