About The Position
NSC Skilled Trades is seeking experienced Substation Apparatus Technician for a project in Benson, Arizona. This position works to safely, economically and efficiently install, maintain, test and calibrate as needed, all assigned equipment owned or to be maintained by the Cooperative. This position is also responsible to respond to after-hours call-outs as required. With the location of the Cooperatives substations around the state, the Substation Apparatus Technicians are also required to travel and stay out of town to perform necessary duties, occasionally. Candidates are also required to possess or have the ability to obtain a valid Arizona Commercial Drivers License (Class A) within one year from the date of hire.
