About The Position

The Elizabeth Layton Center is seeking a qualified Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Therapist at our new Annex location in Ottawa, KS. The employee will participate in after-hours crisis coverage as part of a shared rotation schedule. The employee reports directly to the Clinical Director or their designee. This position is 100% in-person and located at our newest location in Ottawa, Kansas.

Requirements

  • To be considered, applicants must meet the minimum qualifications to practice outpatient mental health therapy in the state of Kansas.
  • Candidates must also be able to successfully pass all required background checks.
  • Candidates must have SUD credentials ( LAC/LMAC/LCAC) in addition to their Kansas licensure.

Nice To Haves

  • Preference will be given to those with clinical licensure.

Responsibilities

  • Develop initial assessment and formulates treatment plans
  • Conduct a variety of treatment approaches including group, individual, and family therapy
  • Confer with other staff and agency representatives as appropriate
  • Prepare a variety of reports as necessary
  • Maintain appropriate records for reporting, evaluation, accounting, and clinical purposes
  • Meet direct service expectations
  • Meet deadlines for daily paperwork and reports
  • Provide quality documentation
  • Provide back-up crisis coverage
  • Occasionally drive to provide mobile or remote services to clients within the community
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Comply with ELC policies and procedures
