Requirements

• Associate degree in human services or related field, or successful completion of 90 quarter or 60 semester college credits in courses from an approved school
• Substance Use Disorder Professional Certification from Washington Dept of Health
• Required Background check/fingerprinting required before starting
• In-person candidates only

Nice To Haves

• School-based experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Provide student support services related to substance use concerns within the school setting.
• Build positive relationships with students and provide individual and small-group support as needed.
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and community partners to help connect students to appropriate resources.
• Assist with prevention-focused activities and education that promote healthy decision-making and overall wellness.
• Maintain appropriate documentation and follow school and state confidentiality requirements.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to planning and coordination of student support services.
