About The Position

Fairfax Behavioral Health is seeking a licensed Substance Use Disorder Professional for our Monroe location. This position is an integral part of the clinical care team in our inpatient program at our Monroe location. Position Summary - (Schedule Sun-Thur or Tue-Sat) The Substance Use Disorder Professional completes Substance Use evaluations (American Society of Addiction Medicine, ASAM assessment), conducts recovery-oriented group therapy, supervises SUDPTs, and provides training to case managers on the proper administration of an ASAM evaluation. Utilizes evidence based practice in assisting patients achieve their optimal level of mental and emotional health with a focus on chemical dependency issues. Fairfax Behavioral Health (a UHS facility): Fairfax Behavioral Health, founded in 1930, is a private, free-standing mental health hospital that specializes in psychiatric and detox treatment. Requirements

  • Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university in human services or related field.
  • Current WA State independent license in a Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP).
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working as an SUDP and completing ASAM assessments.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working in an inpatient or residential setting.

  • Meets criteria to be an Approved Supervisor per WAC 246-811-049.
