About The Position

Fitchburg Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC), located in Fitchburg, MA, is part of Acadia Healthcare's Comprehensive Treatment Centers—the nation's leader in medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for individuals seeking recovery from Opioid Use Disorder. We provide a continuum of care that includes Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), Office-Based Addiction Treatment (OBAT), Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), and mobile treatment units. Our approach to holistic addiction care extends beyond clinical treatment, incorporating recovery coaching, community outreach and partnerships to ensure patients receive comprehensive, patient-centered support. With 14 outpatient opioid treatment programs (OTPs) across Massachusetts and Rhode Island, we are committed to removing barriers to care and fostering long-term recovery. Through collaborations with nursing homes, justice-involved populations, and community organizations, we ensure comprehensive, patient-centered support. Our CTC clinics cultivate a supportive recovery environment by hosting engaging patient events, including holiday celebrations, Black Balloon Day, and wellness initiatives. Additionally, we partner with yoga programs, animal therapy providers, and health services to promote holistic healing and whole-person well-being throughout the recovery journey.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in a relevant field, or one of the following credentials: CAC, CAS, CADC, CRC, LADC, LICSW, LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT.
• Relevant experience and knowledge in addiction recovery and/or medication-assisted treatment (MAT).
• Experience in behavioral health counseling; individual and group facilitation.
• For Bachelor's-level candidates, commitment to obtaining required credentials within 30-60 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Leading individual and group counseling sessions with compassion and professionalism.
• Designing, managing, and documenting treatment plans tailored to patient needs.
• Facilitating group or family therapy sessions as required.
• Keeping thorough, clear, and timely documentation on patient care, progress, and any incidents.
• Conducting initial and ongoing patient assessments.
• Determining the necessity of referrals to additional programs or external resources.
• Coordinating aftercare plans to support long-term recovery.
• Providing immediate crisis intervention services when needed.
• Managing patient cases to ensure personalized, high-quality care.
• Serving as a liaison between patients and referral sources.
