Position: Substance Use Disorder Counselor/ Intern | Vogue Recovery, NV | Full Time | Weekends and Evenings may be required | Opportunity to Grow Internship Supervision Included Salary: $55,000 annually (Salary Dependent on Experience)
Requirements
- Pass pre-employment drug and background screen
- Holds a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a Human Services related field
- Currently holds CADC, LADC, LCADC or intern license or meets criteria to obtain internship upon hire
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and appropriate boundaries
- Passion for working with individuals struggling with substance use and/or co-occurring mental health issues
Responsibilities
- Build positive relationships with clients, clinical staff and medical staff.
- Provide clinical services to clients in a therapeutic setting including individual assessment and ongoing treatment sessions
- Plans, organizes and facilities all aspects of a client’s continuum of care.
- Facilitate case-load groups as needed
- Clinical Documentation within EMR
