There are still lots of open positions. Let's find the one that's right for you.
Groups Recover Together is an outpatient addiction medicine provider that delivers comprehensive outpatient treatment for opioid addiction. Our care model is built on the principle that recovery is tied to aspects of life that extend beyond the confines of an office visit. We employ three core modalities that have been proven effective in helping individuals regain control of their lives: medication, weekly group therapy, and care navigation. We take pride in offering high-quality clinical treatment and team-based support that empowers individuals to build a life worth living sober. As a Substance Use Counselor at Groups Recover Together, you will play a pivotal role in our organization. If your passion lies in group therapy, this position is tailored for you. In this role, you will not be expected to manage every aspect of care for your members independently. Instead, you will be part of a transformative journey for each member, working within a cross-functional care team that includes prescribers, care navigators, peer recovery coaches, and office managers. Together, this team collaborates to provide a holistic clinical model grounded in the belief that counseling, medication, and community are essential for achieving sustained recovery. Your responsibilities will include actively participating in the treatment team, becoming an expert on addiction and recovery, and coordinating treatment decisions with the support of our clinical experts. You will manage a schedule and caseload that meets the needs of the office and region while further developing your clinical skills. Leading ten to twelve one-hour group therapy sessions each week will be a key focus, where you will build recovery skills and foster community using our outlined curriculum. Additionally, you will document members' progress using outcome measures and client feedback, engage in community relations activities, and promote our mission to community stakeholders.
