SEMCOA operates four emergency assistance family shelters that provide supportive services to families and assist them with securing permanent housing. SEMCOA also provides residential recovery home treatment to individuals with substance use disorders, as well as transitional and permanent housing stability and support programs. Our portfolio also includes two graduate sober houses, the Family Preservation Program, as well as Greater Brockton and Greater Attleboro Taunton Healthy Families programs. Clinician Requirements: Must present as courteous and professional at all times; Demonstrated flexibility and ability to perform multiple tasks; Must have excellent communication skills, including the ability to organize ideas in logical and clear fashion; Knowledge of basic computer skills and software programs including the ability to learn, use and train HPAO Electronic Health Record (EHR); Must have the ability to work with others in cooperative and collaborative manner; An understanding of the relationship between substance use and mental health issues and/or self- help programs; Understand and maintain therapeutic boundaries; Reinforce rules in a respectful manner; Comply with Federal Regulations, 42 CFR Part 2, Confidentiality of Substance Use Disorder and HIPAA Regulations; TB/Flu and Covid19 Assessment; Certification in the HPAO approved de-escalation program; CPR Certification; Successful completion of all trainings upon hire and annually as required.
