About The Position

ARS Treatment Centers specialize in outpatient treatment for those suffering from opioid use disorder. Our clinic is one of ten locations in the mid-Atlantic region that provides specialized outpatient medication-assisted treatment. We are currently seeking a Counselor to join our team!

Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct counseling and case management services to patients, consisting of individual and group services.
• Maintain caseload per State Regulations.
• Assure incoming patients have psychosocial assessment and an interpretive summary according to the timeline in the ARS Policies and Procedure Manual.
• Complete, with patient participation, a Preliminary Treatment Plan according to the timeline in the ARS Policies and Procedure Manual.
• Complete a Treatment Plan Review and update for each patient after completion of the Comprehensive Treatment Plan according to the timeline in the ARS Policies and Procedure Manual.
• Prepare an aftercare transition plan for all patients at the earliest possible time and review prior to discharge.
• Be proficient with State Licensure Standards, CARF Standards, 42 CFR and HIPAA standards and Company policies.
