Substance Abuse Counselor for a Federally Funded Youth Center located in Troutdale, OR
About The Position
PsyPhyCare, a division of Business Staffing of America, Inc., is seeking to contract with a Substance Abuse Counselor for a Federal supported client in Troutdale, OR. DESCRIPTION: Responsible to develop and facilitate the Center’s alcohol, drug and tobacco prevention program. Educates and counsels students to reduce and prevent drug-related separations from the program. Develops individualized case management plans to enhance student retention and success. Ensures confidentiality of sensitive information and compliance with all HIPAA laws. 20-30 hours per week or 3 days out of the normal work week. The facility is open Monday-Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM. The students ages are 16-24.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school preferred.
- A minimum of one year experience in drug/alcohol counseling or related field required.
- Valid In-State Certification in Substance Abuse Counseling/Prevention required.
- CADC License
- 1 year of Counseling experience
