About The Position
ARS Treatment Centers specialize in outpatient treatment for those suffering from opioid use disorder. The clinic is one of ten locations in the mid-Atlantic region that provides specialized outpatient medication-assisted treatment. The Counselor provides direct counseling and case management services to patients, including individual and group services, assessment, individualized treatment plans, counseling, and aftercare services, while adhering to the Company's vision and mission.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work or similar
- Must be CSAC or eligible for CSAC supervision

Responsibilities
- Maintain caseload per State Regulations
- Assures incoming patients have psychosocial assessment and a interpretive summary according to the timeline in the ARS Policies and Procedure Manual
- Completes, with patient participation, a Preliminary Treatment Plan according to the timeline in the ARS Policies and Procedure Manual
- Completes a Treatment Plan Review and update for each patient after completion of the Comprehensive Treatment Plan according to the timeline in the ARS Policies and Procedure Manual
- Prepares an aftercare transition plan for all patients at the earliest possible time and to review prior to discharge
- Be proficient with State Licensure Standards, CARF Standards, 42 CFR and HIPAA standards and Company policies
