Substance Abuse Counselor (Hybrid)

Pyramid Healthcare in Asheville is seeking a dedicated and fully credentialed CADC to join our mission-driven team in a hybrid counseling role. Enjoy the flexibility of working from home while still engaging in meaningful in-person collaboration at least one day per week at our Asheville office.
Requirements
- Fully credentialed CADC in North Carolina (not CADC-I)
- High School Diploma or Associate’s Degree with CADC
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a human services field
- A strong commitment to serving individuals with substance use and co-occurring disorders
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Experience with trauma-informed care or mental health treatment (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Facilitating individual, group, and family counseling sessions
- Conducting behavioral assessments and contributing to individualized treatment plans
- Completing accurate and timely clinical documentation in our electronic system
- Supporting aftercare planning and coordinating with community partners and providers
- Assisting with crisis intervention as needed
- Participating in team meetings, trainings, and clinical case discussions (virtually and onsite)
- Helping support a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment during onsite days
