The Work As a System Integrator, you will be responsible for integrating and testing complex systems, ensuring they meet the required specifications, performance standards, and needs of the sailor. In addition, you will be part of the Testing/Certification environment ensuring that the developed products meet the requirements and intended use on-board the submarine. This role may require dockside support for installing new capabilities as well as some at sea testing support. Requirements

  • 2+ years of integration and test experience on DoD contracts.
  • Proficiency in Linux, network switches, and hardware components.
  • Ability to troubleshoot system issues including Software and Hardware.
  • Experience creating and executing test procedures.
  • Understanding of testing equipment such as SIM/STIM.
  • Participated in a formal test certification selloff effort with government witnesses.

Responsibilities

  • Integrate hardware and software components into a fully functional system
  • Develop and execute test plans and procedures to verify system performance and functionality
  • Conduct testing in a controlled environment, including laboratory and field testing
  • Identify and document defects or anomalies encountered during testing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve defects
  • Analyze test data to verify system performance and functionality
  • Generate reports and presentations to summarize test results and recommendations.
