About The Position

JES Tech is seeking a Subject Monitor to support the Human Health and Performance Contract at NASA Johnson Space Center (JSC) in Houston, TX. Our mission is to safeguard astronaut health, ensure optimal human performance, and advance technologies for human space exploration. We are a team of innovators, scientists, and explorers united by one goal: to improve the world responsibly and safely. This position supports spaceflight analog missions conducted at JSC. These missions simulate deep space exploration to study human performance, mission readiness, and operational resilience. Monitoring generally occurs while the crew is sleeping. The Subject Monitor reports any issues or concerns to appropriate personnel using established escalation and call tree procedures. This role supports the Research Operations and Integration (ROI) element within NASA’s Human Research Program (HRP), under the Human Health and Performance Contract (HHPC2), supporting NASA’s Space Medicine Operations Division. This is a part-time, as-needed position based on mission schedules. Work hours will primarily include overnight shifts and weekends during active missions.
