We are seeking a Subject Matter Expert II as part of a bid process associated with a Statement of Work. Position Responsibilities: Possesses requisite knowledge and provides customized business-focused objective advice, expertise and specialist skills to create value and improve business strategy, internal processes and program/project performance Can develop requirements from a project's inception to its conclusion in the subject matter area for simple to moderately complex systems Assists other senior consultants with analysis and evaluation and with the preparation of recommendations for system improvements, optimization, development and/or maintenance efforts in the following specialties: business process re-engineering, workflow and process automation process improvement quality control and management information systems architecture, automation, communications protocols, risk management/electronic analysis, software, life-cycle management, development methodologies, modeling and simulation projects. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Provides expertise or guidance to a project in subject matter area of specialized knowledge Specialized knowledge is not limited to acquisitions, grants, budgetary and federal regulations and may include knowledge of areas supported by acquisitions and grants management Expertise may be called out, without limitation, in product selection, acquisition planning, system design, grants and financial management, security and other operational and analytical disciplines to include reliability, maintainability and life cycle cost management Expertise may also include specialized knowledge of client operations, client programs, policy and regulatory matters May advise on or provide input to narrowly focused studies concerning information technology and topics relating to information technology projects and affecting regulations and policies Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job

Requirements

  • Minimum Education: BA/BS
  • Minimum Experience: 12 years or more

Responsibilities

  • Can develop requirements from a project's inception to its conclusion in the subject matter area for simple to moderately complex systems
