About The Position

V-Tech Solutions, Inc. is seeking highly skilled and knowledgeable candidates to serve as Subject Matter Expert II in Washington, DC. The Subject Matter Expert II will provide advanced expertise in specialized areas, guide teams and stakeholders, and lead initiatives that align with organizational goals. This role builds upon the foundational responsibilities of Subject Matter Expert I, with added leadership and strategic responsibilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Health, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred)
• Deep understanding of specialized subject areas relevant to departmental operations
• Proficiency in PASS, Microsoft Suite, and database analysis tools
• Strong knowledge of DC Government purchase and travel card policies
• Experience in accounting, auditing, finance, and budgeting
• Familiarity with DC contracting and procurement regulations
• Ability to lead teams and manage projects effectively
• Excellent communication, training, and documentation skills

Nice To Haves

• certifications in auditing, procurement, or compliance are a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide expert knowledge and insights to guide team members and stakeholders
• Consult on complex issues and assist other administrations in solving specialized problems
• Develop training materials, manuals, courses, and resources to support staff development
• Lead or manage projects and teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals and best practices
• Perform all duties of Subject Matter Expert I, including compliance monitoring, contract auditing, and reporting
• Advise on the impact of new legislation or technologies relevant to departmental operations
• Conduct group and one-on-one training sessions to enhance contract compliance skills
• Support programs in analyzing billings and establishing vendor fiscal reporting standards
