Subject Matter Expert I – Finance Cost Recovery
About The Position
E-Logic is seeking a Subject-Matter Expert I - Finance Cost Recovery to provide advanced technical guidance on FEMA PA finance policy, cost eligibility, and audit preparation for DSHS's cost-recovery operations. This role will be remote but at any moment, the government can change it to onsite with a 30 days' advance written notice. Important Notice : This role is part of a proposal for the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS). Hiring is contingent upon the selection of the consultant . Selected candidates will be included in the proposal and must authorize the use of their resume for submission.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- 7+ years of FEMA financial-recovery experience.
- Deep knowledge of 44 CFR and Stafford Act.
- Excellent analytical and mentoring skills.
Responsibilities
- Review complex project costs for compliance.
- Advise on FEMA documentation and grant-formulation processes.
- Support corrective-action planning and training initiatives.
- Serve as resource for FEMA PA and TDEM reimbursement standards.
