Subject Matter Expert (Finance) - German Speaker
About The Position
DataForce by TransPerfect is seeking experienced Subject Matter Experts (Finance) with advanced skills in German language to support a cutting-edge Generative AI project. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Investment Banking, Equity or Capital Markets, Portfolio Management, and Asset Management to help design workflows, create evaluations, and provide guidance that ensures AI models deliver accurate, relevant, and high-quality results in financial tasks. DataForce by TransPerfect is part of the TransPerfect family of companies, the world’s largest provider of language and technology solutions for global business, with offices in more than 100 cities worldwide. The department focuses on gathering, enriching and processing data for Machine Learning in different AI domains, offering high-quality data for Human-Machine Interaction to prestigious technology companies.
Requirements
- Advanced skills in German language.
- 5+ years of professional experience in one of the following areas: Investment Banking (M&A, capital markets, corporate finance), Private Equity (deal sourcing, due diligence, portfolio management), Asset Management (portfolio management, investment strategy, quantitative analysis), Equity Research (company analysis, financial modeling, report writing).
- Advanced skills in financial software such as Bloomberg and Prophix, along with strong data analytics capabilities for forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.
- Strong analytical skills to break down complex financial processes into measurable steps.
- Excellent communication skills to explain financial concepts to non-experts.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
Nice To Haves
- Basic understanding of AI, machine learning, or experience working with technical teams is a significant plus.
Responsibilities
- Workflow Definition: Define the most common research and analysis workflows in your area (e.g., M&A deal analysis, company valuation, or portfolio construction).
- Evaluation Creation: Build test cases and evaluation criteria to measure how well the AI completes these workflows.
- Capability Assessment: Assess the model’s ability to handle financial tasks such as statement analysis, data extraction, market trend identification, and risk assessment.
- Data Curation & Annotation: Identify and curate high-quality financial data for training and fine-tuning AI models.
- Feedback & Iteration: Provide feedback on model outputs and suggest improvements to enhance accuracy and usefulness.
