About The Position

We are seeking an Adobe Firefly Subject Matter Expert (SME) to collaborate with our Curriculum Development Team in creating high‑quality, skills‑based courseware aligned to the Adobe Certified Professional: Product and Experience Design with AI Using Adobe Firefly certification exam. This role is an opportunity to apply real‑world experience with generative AI and Adobe Firefly to design engaging instructional content for secondary, post‑secondary, and adult learners preparing for academic success and industry‑recognized certification. Project Scope & Responsibilities Lesson Development Design clear, structured lessons that teach core Adobe Firefly and AI‑assisted product/experience design concepts, including but not limited to: AI concepts and model capabilities Responsible generative AI use and human‑in‑the-loop practices Design fundamentals and design thinking for product/experience design Ideation, prompt development, and refinement workflows Provide step‑by‑step instructions that reflect real‑world creative and design workflows using Adobe Firefly and Adobe Creative Cloud. Video Walkthroughs Create concise, easy‑to‑follow video demonstrations showing how to do tasks such as: Generate and refine images, video, and audio using Firefly (for example, text to image, generative fill, text to video, generate soundtrack) Translate project briefs and client requirements into effective prompts and iterations Integrate Firefly outputs into downstream Adobe Creative Cloud applications Visual & Screenshot Creation Capture professional, high‑quality screenshots and visuals that clearly illustrate skills and topics such as: Firefly prompts, settings, and key features (such as text to image, generative recolor, text effects, text to avatar) Iterative improvements based on feedback and testing Preparation and packaging of final design assets for different outputs (social media, marketing materials, presentations) If you are passionate about education, possess expert‑level Adobe Firefly and generative AI skills, and want to help learners build job‑ready creative and product/experience design capabilities using Adobe Firefly, we encourage you to apply.

Requirements

Adobe Firefly & Generative AI Expertise: Demonstrated mastery of Adobe Firefly for generating and refining images, video, and audio, including key features such as text to image, generative fill, scene to image, text to video, image to video, generate soundtrack, and generate speech.
Product & Experience Design Knowledge: Strong understanding of design fundamentals, design thinking, and user‑centered methods, including composition, color, typography, visual hierarchy, personas, user journeys, and accessibility best practices.
Responsible AI & Human‑in‑the-Loop Practice: Clear understanding of responsible generative AI use, including copyright, ethics, bias, and intellectual property, and the ability to teach learners how to evaluate AI outputs against project requirements and refine them appropriately.
Educational or Instructional Experience: Experience developing curriculum, instructional content, or teaching design, media, or technology concepts (K‑12, Higher Ed, or professional education).
Technical Communication Skills: Ability to explain complex AI and design concepts clearly using written instructions, visuals, and video demonstrations.
High Attention to Detail: Accuracy in prompt construction, configuration of Firefly settings, adherence to exam objectives, and overall presentation quality.
